What is Interactive Brokers Income Tracker?
The Interactive Brokers Income Tracker is a free browser-based tool for analyzing an IBKR Activity Statement CSV and turning detailed brokerage data into a clearer view of your portfolio income. It helps you review dividends, interest, realized trading results and detected options trading activity by month and ticker. This is one of our broker tools that we provide for free.
Instead of connecting directly to your brokerage account, the tracker works with an Activity Statement that you download from Interactive Brokers. Your selected CSV is processed locally in your browser, and the tracker does not ask for your Interactive Brokers username or password.
What does the Interactive Brokers Income Tracker analyze?
The IBKR Income Tracker focuses on the parts of an Interactive Brokers Activity Statement that can help investors understand where portfolio cash flow and realized income are coming from.
Dividend income includes settled cash dividend payments and provides monthly, ticker-level and historical views.
Interest income identifies settled interest credits and debits reported within the statement.
Realized trading results show realized profit or loss from closed non-option trades detected in the IBKR Trades section.
Options results are separated from ordinary trading activity where the tracker can identify realized options transactions.
The dashboard also organizes these figures into monthly and ticker-level views so that investors can compare passive portfolio income with realized trading activity more easily.
How to export an Interactive Brokers Activity Statement CSV
To use the tracker, first sign in to the Interactive Brokers Client Portal and open the reporting or statements area.
Choose an Activity Statement, select the period you want to analyze, and select CSV as the download format.
Once the statement has been downloaded to your computer, return to the Interactive Brokers Income Tracker above, choose the CSV file and select Analyze Portfolio.
Interactive Brokers documents Activity Statements as reports containing information such as trades, transactions, dividends, fees and cash balances. If the reporting interface in your account differs, refer to the official Interactive Brokers Activity Downloads documentation.
Why use an IBKR dividend and income tracker?
Interactive Brokers Activity Statements contain extensive information, but a full statement is not always the fastest way to answer simple portfolio-income questions.

Because brokerage statements can contain sensitive financial information, you should still review any file before opening it in a third-party analysis tool and keep your original statement securely stored.
Does the tracker calculate dividend income by ticker?
Yes. Where the required data is available in the Activity Statement, the dashboard can organize settled dividend payments by ticker and period.
This can make it easier to identify which holdings are contributing most to portfolio income and to review how dividend payments have developed over time.
Does it include options and realized trading income?
The dashboard separates detected realized options trading results from realized non-option trading activity.
These figures should not be treated as replacements for Interactive Brokers’ own records. Transaction classification and currency normalization depend on the information available in the exported statement, so important figures should always be checked against the original IBKR Activity Statement.
